Dear Ms. Liburdi:

As you might imagine, the terms proposed in your booklet are
not satisfactory to us. I note that the booklet says that only a
Company officer or the Company's General Patent Counsel
is authorized to modify them.

Let me suggest that you look into the question of whether
my reputation as a computer scientist or Dr. Hurd's reputation
as a business executive (He was Manager of Data Processing for IBM
when it was developing its first computers and has been involved
in many business activities since.) are sufficient to make
it worthwhile for a Company officer or the General Patent
Counsel to consider discussing our
ideas on some basis that is more likely to be satisfactory to us.

.sgn

P.S. I am Professor of Computer Science at Stanford but use my home
address, because Stanford University owns no part of this idea.
I am reasonably well known among computer scientists in G.E., and
you could begin your inquiries with Dr. Shuey.
